Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 29th, 2026

Who We Are

Made Right Media, LLC (“Made Right Media,” “we,” “us”) is a web and digital marketing agency based in Boise, Idaho. This policy explains what personal information we collect through maderightmedia.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy covers the Site only. Work we do for clients — including websites and hosting we manage for them — is governed by our client agreements, and each client’s own site has its own privacy policy.

The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you and run the Site. We don’t sell your personal information.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and project inquiries. When you fill out a form, email us, or call, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you choose to tell us about your project.
  • Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address. Our newsletter is managed through Mailchimp, which also tells us whether emails are opened and links are clicked.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect some technical information, such as:

  • IP address and approximate location (city or region)
  • Browser, device type, and operating system
  • Pages you visit, how long you stay, and how you arrived (for example, a search engine, an ad, or a referring link)
  • Campaign information, such as tracking codes in the web addresses we use in ads, emails, or QR codes on printed materials, which tell us which campaign brought you to the Site

This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and prepare proposals
  • Provide services you’ve engaged us for and communicate about them
  • Send newsletters or updates you’ve signed up for (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
  • Keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • Meet legal and accounting obligations

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies that the Site needs to function and stay secure.
  • Google Analytics, which uses cookies to help us understand traffic and which content is useful. We look at this data in aggregate, not to identify you personally.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that measures visits without using cookies.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking. When we run Google search ads, a Google tag records when someone who clicked one of our ads submits a form and reaches our thank-you page. This tells us whether our ads are working. We don’t advertise on social media and don’t use social media tracking pixels.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage how Google uses data for ads in your Google Ad Settings.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers who help us run our business — such as website hosting, email, analytics, CRM, scheduling, and project management tools. They may use it only to provide services to us.
  • With our team, including trusted contractors who work on client projects under confidentiality obligations.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of the company, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Some of our service providers and team members are located outside the United States. By using the Site, you understand your information may be processed in those locations.

How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Inquiries that don’t become projects are typically deleted or archived within [2 years — confirm]. Client records are kept as long as needed for the engagement and for legal, tax, and accounting requirements.

How We Protect It

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable, security-focused service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

You can:

  • Ask what personal information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct or delete it
  • Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message
  • Opt out of analytics or advertising cookies as described above

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), other U.S. state privacy laws, or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To make a request, contact us using the details below. We’ll respond within the time required by applicable law, and we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

The Site links to client websites and other third-party sites. We’re not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
