Your marketing should be making you money. Can you prove it?

Most businesses spend money on marketing without knowing if it’s working. They buy a website. They run some ads. They post on social media. But they can’t answer the most important question: is any of this actually driving growth?

That’s ridiculous, so we built a framework to fix it: The Made Right Model for Growth. It has three phases and is grounded in two sacred numbers: how much a new customer is worth, and how much you spend to get that new customer. If those two numbers are not in alignment, everything else you do is a waste.

The Made Right Model for Growth

The Made Right Model for Growth is our proprietary framework for turning marketing from a guessing game into a growth system. The model is made up of three phases, and every service we offer, every decision we make, and every metric we track maps to one of them.

The math

Marketing isn’t an expense. It’s an investment with a measurable return.

If you don’t know how much money your marketing is bringing in, it makes spending on it feel painful and expensive. But marketing isn’t an expense, it’s an investment.

The Made Right Model for Growth holds two foundational numbers:

The goal: your CAC should be a fraction of your LTV — but the right fraction depends on your business.

The clincher? Not marketing is WAY more expensive for your business.

Customer Lifetime Value

LTV

what a customer pays you throughout their entire relationship with your business.

Customer Acquisition Cost

CAC

what you spend on marketing, divided by the number of new customers you acquire.

A private school with high staffing and facility costs has different margins than an accounting firm running a lean operation. A real estate agent working on commission has a different equation than either one. There’s no universal rule. We help you find the number that makes sense for your business, your margins, and your growth goals.

In our experience working with businesses in Idaho, a healthy CAC target falls somewhere in the range of 10–20% of LTV. The real work is sitting down with you and calculating your number — based on your actual revenue, your actual margins, and your actual customer behavior. That’s exactly what we do in the first phase of the Made Right Model for Growth, and that number becomes our beacon for everything we do going forward.

See some examples

Business
Monthly Revenue
Avg. Tenure
LTV
Target CAC (10–20%)
Private School ($1,475/mo tuition)
$1,475
30 months
$44,250
$4,425 – $8,850
Accounting firm ($300/mo retainer)
$300
48 months
$14,400
$1,440 – $2,880
Real estate agent ($8,000 commission)
One-time
Repeat + referrals
$8,000+
$800 – $1,600

A private school that spends $5,000 in total marketing cost to enroll one family worth $44,250 over 2.5 years? That’s a strong return. An accounting firm that spends $2,000 to land a client worth $14,400 over four years? That’s a no-brainer.

Not doing anything is WAY more expensive than marketing

There’s one more facet to marketing that needs to be acknowledged as well, and that is the fact that not having a customer is also a massive lost opportunity.

Let’s look at another example. A private school charging $1,475 a month with one empty seat is losing $1,475 every month that seat stays empty. Over six months, that’s $8,850 in lost revenue. That’s money that was already budgeted for — the classroom is staffed, the building is heated, the spot is open. Spending $5,000 to fill that seat isn’t an expense. It’s the best investment the business can make.

An accounting firm with capacity for ten more clients is leaving $36,000 a year on the table. A real estate agent who misses three leads this quarter could be missing $24,000 in commissions.

Marketing isn’t the cost. The empty seat is the cost.

Clarity.

I think our marketing is working?I know exactly what’s working, what it costs, and what to do next.

Most businesses start marketing by picking a tactic — run some Google Ads, post on FB or IG, hire someone to do SEO, and maybe redesign the website. But there’s a crucial step many people skip: understanding your target audience, their why, and how to reach them.

The Clarity phase is where we do that work. We dig into your market, your customers, and your competition. We figure out what a customer is actually worth to your business and what it should cost to acquire one. We audit what you’re already doing and find where the gaps are.

The result isn’t a binder that collects dust. It’s a clear plan — built on your actual numbers — that tells you exactly where to invest and what to expect in return.

  • Market research and competitive analysis
  • Audience development and customer personas
  • Customer Lifetime Value and Acquisition Cost modeling
  • Marketing audit and funnel analysis
  • Strategic planning and roadmap
  • Brand positioning and messaging
  • Search volume
  • Search queries
  • Impressions
  • Click-through rates

Confidence.

I hope this works.I can see exactly how this connects to revenue.

With the strategy set and a clear head, we build. But nothing is random. Every piece of execution — the website, the search presence, the content, the campaigns, the brand identity — ties directly back to the plan from the Clarity phase.

This is where most agencies start. They skip the thinking and jump straight to doing. The problem is that a beautiful website that doesn’t convert is just an expensive waste of time. In fact, it could actually be hurting you. An ad campaign without a strategy behind it is just spending. We build systems that work because we’ve already done the arduous tasks of researching and thinking.

And we build them right. That means accessible, compliant, and designed for real people — not just search engines.

  • Brand identity design (logo, design system, brand guidelines)
  • Website design and development
  • Search engine optimization and AI visibility (SEO & GEO)
  • Paid advertising strategy and management
  • Content creation and distribution
  • Website accessibility compliance
  • New users
  • Followers
  • Engagement time
  • Page views per visitor
  • Social reactions
  • Conversions
  • Conversation quality

Growth.

We need more leads. Our existing customers are our best growth channel.

You’ve got a customer! Now what? Many businesses work so hard to get a customer that they forget to keep them. They forget to ask for referrals. They forget to check in. They don’t upsell or cross sell. They forget that a customer who stays three years instead of two might be worth an extra $15,000 or more.

The Growth phase is where we turn your marketing from a machine that acquires customers into a system that compounds value. We track the numbers that matter, optimize what’s working, and recalibrate when the business evolves. We build smart AI systems that make your team more efficient. We help with pricing strategy to drive more value. We help you learn from your customers. And we make sure you always know the answer to the question that started all of this: is my marketing making me money?

This isn’t where the engagement ends. It’s where the real returns begin.

  • Ongoing strategy, reporting, and optimization
  • Quarterly strategic check-ins and recalibration
  • Customer retention and referral strategy
  • Website hosting, maintenance, and support
  • AI strategy and implementation
  • Team training and enablement
  • Customer spend
  • Overhead costs
  • Direct costs
  • Reviews
  • Customer retention
