Our Commitment to Accessibility
Made Right Media believes the web should work for everyone. We build websites for a living, and we hold our own site to the same standard we hold our clients’ sites: it should be usable by people of all abilities, on any device, with or without assistive technology.
Quality, efficiency, and longevity guide everything we build. Accessibility is part of all three. It is not a feature we add at the end — it is a required step in every page we design and build.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
We consider this website partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That means most of the site meets the standard, but some content may not yet fully conform. We are actively working to close those gaps.
How We Support Accessibility
We take the following measures to make this site accessible:
- Semantic structure. Pages use proper headings, landmarks, and roles so screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate them.
- Keyboard access. All navigation, links, buttons, and forms can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators and a “skip to content” link.
- Readable design. Text and interface elements meet WCAG AA color contrast ratios, and text can be resized without breaking the layout.
- Responsive layout. The site adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops, with tap targets sized for touch.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Accessible forms. Form fields have clear labels, instructions, and error messages.
- Descriptive links and labels. Links and buttons describe where they go or what they do, with ARIA labels where needed.
- Motion. We respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.
How we test
We check new and updated content with automated accessibility scanning as it is published. We also test manually with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers, and color contrast tools. Accessibility review is part of our standard build process, not a one-time audit.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not be fully accessible yet:
- Older portfolio and blog content. Some legacy images, PDFs, and embedded media may lack complete alt text, captions, or transcripts. We update these as we review them.
- Third-party content. Some features come from outside providers, such as embedded videos, maps, scheduling tools, and social media feeds. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we don’t fully control their content.
- Client work samples. Screenshots and links in our portfolio show work built for clients. Linked client sites are governed by their own accessibility policies.
If any of these get in your way, please let us know. We’ll provide the information in another format.
