Idaho Out-Of-School Network

Idaho Out-of-School Network (ION) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening quality out-of-school programs for Idaho’s youth.

ION works to ensure young people have safe, enriching spaces to be active and learn, serving as a critical hub for resources, professional development for providers, and statewide advocacy for Out-of-School Time (OST) programs. Seeking a fresh website, they turned to us for help to achieve their online presence goals!

Web Design

We partnered with the Idaho Out-of-School Network to design a dynamic, user-focused website that serves as a central hub for Idaho’s OST community. The new platform was built to clearly communicate their mission, streamline access to vital resources, and elevate their statewide advocacy efforts. The intuitive design ensures a positive and effective experience for their core audiences: Parents & Guardians, Providers & Educators, and Advocates.

Accessibility

Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, we ensured the ION website was built to the highest accessibility standards. We implemented key ADA and WCAG guidelines to guarantee that all parents, providers, and advocates—including those using screen readers or other assistive technologies—could easily access critical program information and resources, strengthening the organization’s commitment to equitable service.

Automation

To help ION scale their operations and save valuable staff time, we implemented powerful automation solutions. This included streamlining the application and management process for key events like the Behavior Management Institute (BMI) and simplifying the process for providers to add or manage their listings in the searchable program directory. These efficiencies allow the ION team to focus on mission-critical work rather than administrative tasks.

Consulting & Support

Our consulting services provided ION with strategic guidance on optimizing their overall digital infrastructure to support statewide growth. We analyzed their goals for the Learning Academy, major events like the Power Up Summit, and resource delivery to recommend effective strategies for expanding their reach and improving service quality for their vast network of youth program providers.

We provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for the ION platform. This ensures the website’s critical features—from the searchable program directory to their resource libraries and event registration forms—run smoothly and securely 24/7. This continuous support empowers the ION team to focus entirely on their mission of advancing quality programming for Idaho’s youth.
